Gabriel Estay

Head instructor of ZENTRO Academy, Gabriel currently holds a 5th Dan rank in Taekwondo W.T.F.(World Taekwondo Federation) and 4th Dan in Hapkido K.H.F.(Korean Hapkido Federation).

Gabriel has been training and teaching martial arts for over 20 years, he has conducted seminars nationally and internationally.

With a Bachelor of Health Science (Acupuncture), Gabriel brings his specialised interest in pressure points and body-mind interaction into his teachings.

Gabriel believes that martial arts is not about fighting but about a way of life and living.

Gabriel teaches with a strong emphasis on character-development and his skill in self defence techniques, forms, sparring, weaponry and Ki (breathing) techniques ensure that students learn through a very comprehensive training system.

 

Manuel Garcia

Manuel Garcia

Instructor of the ZENTRO Academy in the western suburbs, Manuel holds a 2nd Dan in Taekwondo W.T.F. (World Taekwondo Federation).

Manuel has been training for over 20 years, he started in Shepparton (VIC) in 1985 and move to Brisbane (QLD) in 1987, in the 90’s Manuel competed in open tournaments at national and international levels. After finishing with open competition, Manuel then took the next step and opened a school, which he has been running for the last 3 years.

With his experience as a competitor, coach and referee he is able to pass on valuable lessons learnt during his own training and in competition.

Manuel believes that Taekwondo is like chess. Strategy, Tactics and Patience.

Manuel teaches with a strong emphasis on character-development and self defence, that Taekwondo is not to be used as a method of becoming the bully. Manuel's skills in self defence techniques, forms and sparring ensure that students have a very comprehensive training system.
